Code Club - FIRST LEGO League - Rookie Regional

In Terms Three and Four, we are offering Gr3-6 Code Club members the chance to commit to entering a team in the FIRST LEGO League: UNEARTHED in November! To conclude the current season, the following event is taking place THIS WEEKEND and is open to all members of the public. This is a fantastic opportunity, not only for our Code Club members to be inspired, but also for our school community to witness some incredible technology and creativity. You can also gain Children's University hours - don't forget to take your passport with you!

The Rookie Regional is a FREE event open to the whole community. Whether you're in a team or just curious about FIRST LEGO League (FLL), come along and:
✅ Watch live FLL robot runs in action
✅ Meet real teams and discover how FLL works
✅ Learn how to start your own team with help from our FREE loaning library (LEGO Spike kits, FLL mats + more!)
✅ Explore displays including our STEM On Track karts and Greenpower Australia F24 and Goblin electric race cars
✅ Join a free team like STEM Unlimited (Grades 5–10) or Little LEGO Learners (ages 3–6)
✅ Earn Children’s University hours (we’re an official CU Learning Destination!)

Special Guest – Dr Vanessa Pirotta

We’re honoured to welcome Sydney-based Dr Vanessa Pirotta – award-winning marine scientist, author, and STEM communicator – as a guest speaker and judging panel member! Dr V will be available to sign copies of her incredible books The Voyage of Whale and Calf, Oceans at Night and Humpback Highway (be quick – extremely limited quantities of each will be available for purchase at the event).
