Dear Families,

On behalf of St Brigid’s Wynyard, I welcome you to our school community. At St Brigid’s we are a community who nurture our faith

tradition, pursue excellence and are focussed on creating preferred futures for all. St Brigid’s Catholic School Wynyard has been providing a Catholic education for students since 1923. Founded by the OLSH Sisters, St Brigid’s currently offers co-educational classes from Kindergarten through to Grade 6 for approximately 215 students.

Our learning program is based upon research based best practice teaching principles. We have a committed teaching staff who work collaboratively to provide opportunities for every child to flourish. We have high expectations of our students and nurture their growth in a safe and inclusive environment.

It is our engaged and proactive sense of community and belonging that makes our school special. Every child is

 welcome at our school, no matter where they are on their journey of learning and development. We value and support partnerships with families to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students. These partnerships are founded upon mutual respect, cooperation and communication.
